The words flawed and masterpiece were never meant to be together. To be flawed means to contain blemishes or imperfections. In order for anything to be a masterpiece it must’ve been created by a person who holds outstanding skills, workmanship and artistry.
Shasti Richards has been running from her past for almost ten years. She’s lived a life of repetition, with no room for any unplanned activities. The one time she steps out of the box she placed herself in years ago, she’s hit head on by the one things she’s gone out of her way to avoid, her past. Unknowingly, Shasti will not only be faced with her past, but she also has to think about something that she thought she would never have, a future.
Mario Fallini was thrusted into the chair that his father’s untimely murder forced him. Running the family is what he was groomed to do all of his life. Everything about his life created envy in the people around him. Strangers were always using the Fallini family as the standard for what they wanted to become. The cars, trips, money, power, respect, and honor that the Fallini name held were the very things that any outsider wanted and saw as perfect or a masterpiece.
Shasti is determined not to let the past continue to rule her life. Mario wants to concentrate on the more personal side of his life. Separate they are only a woman that’s flawed and a man that is considered the masterpiece from the inside looking in.
This is a tale of how two people that would never be considered to be a soul mate to one another change the game. They both will learn that in love nothing is perfect or unblemished, however when they are put together, not only does the combination stop the world that they both have come to know, they also become the definition of A Flawed Masterpiece.
