There comes a time in every young man’s life where he has a crisis of identity and purpose.
I just never expected mine to be so literal.
I suddenly found myself thrust into another world, summoned by a spell gone wrong. If that wasn’t weird enough, apparently the man who did the spell was my doppelganger and the star pupil in this crazy fantasy world’s most prestigious magic academy.
But why did we swap places? Why do we look so similar? And why can I suddenly control elements like I’m an extra in Avatar the Last Airbender?
If I’m going to make it back home, I’ll need to find the answers to these questions. All while faking my way through magic classes, fighting mage duels, and dodging suspicious teachers who are convinced my new friends and I are out to topple the evil regime ruling this world.
And maybe we are.
