The murders are starting to stack up on Delta Steven's beat, and they aren't your run-of-the-mill, crimes-of-passion type deal, either. Someone is clearly trying to send Delta and her crew some kind of message, but what is going on? And, more importantly, who's behind it?

When Delta's long-time friend and confidant, Connie, notices the crimes are patterned after her latest video game, Delta must step back and allow for player two to help take on the mysterious madman behind it.

Will Connie's genius combined with Delta's street-smarts be enough to uncover the serial killer's plot before he can strike again? Or will it be game over for Delta Stevens, once and for all?
