Andrew Van Wey was born in Palo Alto, California, spent part of his childhood in New England, and lived in South Korea for over a decade.
As a child of the late 80's and early 90's, Andrew fondly remembers a time when cell phones were the size of bricks, a good scare could be found in a stack of torn Stephen King books, and a sleepover was best spent scaring friends with low budget horror on VHS.
When he's not writing or teaching Andrew can be found mountain biking, playing video games, or hiking with his wife and their sheepdog Daenerys. He loves education, traveling, and geeking out about D&D and fountain pens. He considers bacon and eggs to be a perfectly acceptable meal at all times of day and tattoos to be high art.

BETA (2023)
Sammy Scott
"Fans of Black Mirror and Ex Machina will find plenty to fear in this tale of a smart home with a monkey paw mission to give its occupant whatever he desires. Yet like the best suspense, BETA is also infinitely human."
