Dumpster rat by day and stowaway by night, Emmy is living his best life... as long as stuffy, studly policeman Varrick doesn't realize Emmy has been living secretly in his attic. For over a year.
In his little nest, Emmy has everything he wants--snacks, trinkets, paper he uses to leave Varrick notes, because Varrick thinks he's being haunted by a ghost called Dicky Mems.
Emmy is happy to keep up that pretense. Only he can't help himself; he peeks at that alpha in the shower, he laughs at Varrick's jokes. He sneaks downstairs to pull the covers over Varrick when he sleeps, because Varrick seems so lonely sometimes.
