Former detective Robin Matthews is known to the world as the one who caught the Executioner, the infamous serial killer. All of it is behind her, however the visions of her past still haunt her. Robin has quit her job and is trying to move on with her life, but she still craves for the thrill of being a detective.
When a dead body is discovered with a note in its throat, and its fingerprints match that of a man who is supposed to have been dead for fifteen years, the captain calls Robin in, knowing she will be the only one to solve it.
With the investigations going on, Robin gets more obsessed and more reckless. She risks losing it all once again.
