Peter Goode wants nothing more than to meet the woman of his dreams and find a little rest and relaxation in the rolling hills of Northern New York. Unfortunately, Peter will encounter an enemy who can appear to be anyone at any time. If this supernatural entity gets its way, Peter’s best friend, Dan, and Dan’s cousin, Josie, will die along with a lot of other people.
Peter is a quiet man who lived through a childhood dominated by his alcoholic mother, her physical and emotional abuse, and some special abilities. These abilities, which give him an unusual psychic and physical connection to another world, are always with him and have led him to further discoveries about himself. He resists these things though, as he only wants to lead a normal life. Despite his talents and desire for a simple existence, Peter knows he has never seen anything like the evil that lives inside a nearby mountain.

When that evil rot, from a secret cave, comes forth into the world, Peter is busy desperately falling head over heels for Josie. He only wants to be happy for once which is what causes him to miss the signs that those around him aren’t quite right. It isn’t until three local boys come to reveal a secret that Peter understands everyone around him is being terrorized by this evil, especially Josie.

It is the changes Peter sees in his friends that push him to go to a place he doesn’t ever want to see again. It is a place filled with horrors and nightmares beyond his imagination. Peter must go to that cave of evil to save not only his friends but the entire local community.

In this second installment of The Goode People, more than ever before, Peter will need to rely on his hidden talents and those who love him to survive and save the New England town of Warrensburg.
Welcome to the continuation of the supernatural thriller story of Peter Goode’s life.
