Christine Wells writes historical fiction featuring strong, fascinating women. From early childhood, she drank in her father’s tales about the real kings and queens behind popular nursery rhymes and she has been a keen student of history ever since. She began her first novel while working as a corporate lawyer, and has gone on to write about periods ranging from Georgian England to post World War II France. Christine is passionate about helping other writers learn the craft and business of writing fiction and enjoys mentoring and teaching workshops whenever her schedule permits. She loves dogs, running, the beach and fossicking for antiques and lives with her family in Brisbane, Australia.

The Last Light Over Oslo (2024)
Alix Rickloff
"Wonderfully atmospheric and beautifully written, The Last Light Over Oslo is the riveting story based on a real life heroine: Daisy Harriman, the U.S. Ambassador to Norway, who was charged with escorting the Norwegian Crown Princess and her young children to America to keep them safe from the invading Nazis. The Last Light Over Oslo is utterly absorbing - I could not put it down!"
The Windsor Conspiracy (2024)
Georgie Blalock
"A fascinating, deep dive into the turbulent waters of one of history's most controversial couples, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, through the eyes of Wallis Simpson's cousin and companion, The Windsor Conspiracy is historical fiction at its best!"
The Keeper of Hidden Books (2023)
Madeline Martin
"An enthralling, wrenching tale of a young woman's courage and conviction, and of the vital importance of preserving and defending literature and culture against a tyranny bent on destroying them. The Keeper of Hidden Books is essential reading for book lovers everywhere."
