Gareth Montgomery was supposed to become my stepbrother when my mom married his legal guardian, but from the moment he locks eyes on me, he decides I’m more than that.
A toy. A plaything he can use however he wants and then discard when he’s bored.
It’s what he says his uncle will do with my mom once he’s done with her. We’re nothing to the Montgomery family, and he tells me I’m only here to entertain him for as long as possible.
