Investigative witch Katie Houseman’s newest client is renovating her brownstone – and cheating on her husband with the plumber. When the plumber turns up dead, the wife is the obvious suspect.
Her dog, Pickles, begs Katie to find the real killer. Since Katie can talk to dogs, she is willing to help – even though she’s not sure it’s murder. At least, not until the detective in charge refuses to give up on the case even though he’s been ordered not to pursue it.
