How do you make a witch like Ember scratch?
Simple. Take away the ‘w’.

Ember McNair has had enough.
Everything is telling her that she has a loving family, a wonderful husband, amazing friends, and fantastic feline familiar.

Except for the nagging sensation that it’s all…wrong.

Whether it’s a well placed clue or a sudden fleeting face in the crowd, this witch is getting the impression that something is up.
Add to all that a new murder that rocks the town.
This time, the killer isn’t anyone worth any sympathy. But the killer strikes again. And again. And each time they get a little bit more bolder, and come a little closer to Ember’s family.

Its up to this witch and her feline familiar to catch the crazy killer before they strike again. All the while trying to figure out who she can trust.

Everywhere she turns, she sees signs that she’s trapped in an illusion. She has to break out. Because if it turns out she’s wrong there’s only one other explanation.

That she’s lost her mind.
