David Peace
"Peerless. David Peace drops you right into the middle of a profound, national grief and you come out of it with a better understanding of who we were, who we are. A brilliant, brilliant book."
This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things (2024)
Naomi Wood
"Every story in this book feels perfect in a different way. Very sharp and very funny . . . I loved it."
A Station on the Path to Somewhere Better (2018)
Benjamin Wood
"Tenderly dissecting the limits of love between parent and child while wriggling with a rich, thrilling tension, this palpably atmospheric story found its way beneath my skin and now lives there. Tell anyone who’ll listen, Benjamin Wood is one of the best novelists in Britain."
