Eileen Wharton

Eileen Wharton is not the naughty great granddaughter of Edith Wharton. Her first novel, Shit Happens was published by Byker Books to worldwide critical acclaim. Shes also won awards for exaggeration. She writes childrens books (The Shmoogly Boo) and a blog three people read. Having recently experienced blurred vision, she wonders whether self-promotion makes you go blind. She has a phobia of tinned tuna and lives on a council estate in the North of England. She has five lively children, two mams, one dad and a Stephen. The Stephen is very cheeky and incredibly loveable. When she grows up she wants to be Lynda LaPlante.
