They stood awkwardly looking at each other, and finally, something deep inside him broke through.

The Village at Crossroad Corners is a tight-knit, traditional, community and a snapshot from the time before technology and big commerce became a mainstay in American culture. The community is rocked when the village council makes the shocking decision to allow a developer to build a dual-aged, residential community, that will house both the elderly and college aged students in a connecting network of buildings. It is an ambitious multi-generational plan, where students and retirees will learn to work together for each other’s benefit. As the development takes shape, new love, fresh starts, and brighter futures all take shape in ways that people never expected.

Carter is taken aback at a terse interaction with the new accountant in town, and their meeting leaves a bad taste in his mouth. When an emergency situation places these two in a situation where they have to depend on each other, they may find more in common with each other than expected. Both are banking on this development being a tremendous success for different reasons, but soon the city girl and the country boy will find new reasons to blend their worlds.

Violet is using her role at Crossroad Corners as another check mark on her five-year career plan. Her ability to work with Saylor, she is hoping, will warrant another job down the road, and she is not getting sidetracked from her ambition. The car accident on her first day in town was unexpected and brought her toe to toe with Carter, a man that also seems to be singularly focused. She can’t afford their interactions if she is going to keep her eye on the prize, no matter what her heart is screaming at her.

The Village at Crossroad Corners series is based on Matthew 7:24-27. “Build His House” is the fourth book in this six-book series. Download this clean romance book to make you feel good about yourself and your world.
