Heiress of Densley Wold

Florence Alice Price, Mrs. James (1857-1929), who wrote under the pseudonym Florence Warden, was a prolific British author and actress. She wrote over a hundred novels and short stories, especially romances. She is perhaps best known for her novel The House on the Marsh (1882).
