J. M. Winchester is the dark alter ego of an author who usually writes happily ever afters. Her fascination with the workings of an evil mind compelled her to start writing psychological thrillers, and All the Lovely Pieces is her debut novel in this genre. Originally from the east coast of Canada, she now lives in Alberta with her husband and son.
