One Little Room

Brought up in straitened circumstances by their uncaring and bitter mother, sisters Catherine and Christie Ann fall in love with the same man, struggling small time journalist Colum Brodie. But Catherine is determined to escape from the poverty of her childhood. She turns him down and instead marries an English army officer, Edward Elkins. Christie Ann first comforts Colum and then marries him. But little does she know that there is a secret bond between Catherine and Colum, the basis for their enduring love.
