Thursday's Child

Abandoned by her parents, mixed-race baby Fleur is brought up by her grandparents in the East End. When they die, she is alone again at the age of 19, with nothing but her mother's last address on a scrap of paper. Starting her new life will bring her face-to-face with the woman who abandoned her.
