Andrew's Bright Blue T-Shirt

When will a little boy be ready to play with the big kids? Andrew loves wearing his brother's hand-me-down T-shirt - the one with the soccer ball on it. He can't wait for the day when he'll be able to dribble the ball with the big kids. So Andrew never takes the T-shirt off! Not when it begins to get a tad tight under his arms. Not even when his belly button starts to show. He doesn't care if others, including his brother, tease him. He doesn't care what anyone thinks. All Andrew cares about is playing soccer. So over and over he practices dribbling, blocking, and kicking. Then one day, as Andrew watches the big kids playing out on the field, the ball lands right at his feet. . . .
