All Leonardo da Vinci wants is to be left alone to work on his inventions and paintings, but he’s been neglecting his clients and running out of money to support himself and his young apprentices. His patrons, the powerful Medici family, offer him a chance of riches by competing against Christopher Columbus to reach the New World. Thanks to his newest invention, the submarine, Leonardo finally has the chance to escape the Medici’s grip on Florence and perhaps even prove to the world that dragons exist.
But it will also mean competing against Orfeo Medici, his former lover who he was forced apart from years ago. Leonardo isn’t ready to admit he may still have lingering feelings for Orfeo, even after they are forced onto opposing sides.
