1929. The memoirs of Wiggin, American author and educator who organized the first free kindergartens on the Pacific coast and with her sister established a training school for kindergarten teachers. As part of her teaching career she wrote her first book, The Story of Patsy. This was followed by other heartwarming tales including her best remembered, the Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm.
