Today is the very last time I will try to get Cameron’s attention. He may have held my heart for as long as I could remember, but I was done being ignored. Now that I was finished with my studies, I was ready to take on the big wide world. If he brushed me off again, it would be without him by my side. I’d leave town for the last time and never return.

I’ve been waiting my whole life for this day. For when my father, the alpha of our pack, finally gave me his permission to claim what’s mine. It’s gutted me all these years to pretend like Zoe was nothing to me when she’d flirt and try to get close. She had no idea how close I wanted her.
