Mark Wheaton is best known for his work as a screenwriter on films like "Friday the 13th," "The Messengers," and the forthcoming "Voice from the Stone." Wheaton also writes comic books (including creating Dark Horse's "The Cleaners"), video games, and is the author of several self-published horror novellas and short stories including "Sunday Billy Sunday," "Flood Plains," and the "Bones" series about a feckless German shepherd who gets caught up in Apocalyptic events. In 2013, a film adaptation of "Sunday Billy Sunday" was awarded a director's lab fellowship by Film Independent, the outfit behind the Independent Spirit Awards.
