Emotions are high in the vampire family as they once again return to life on the run.

With Abigail now in power of the Calder clan, they appear more organized, disciplined, and deadlier than ever. Kristian and Tessa crave stability to raise their daughter, the realization of the turbulent environment they had brought Mira into. They still wouldn't change it for the world - their only hope is that their problem with the Calder soon resolves. However, nothing with their family could ever be so simple.
