Mary Watson recommends
Daughter of Darkness (2022)
(House of Shadows , book 1)
Katharine and Elizabeth Corr
"Everything I want in a fantasy and more."
Her Dark Wings (2022)
Melinda Salisbury
"Infused with myth, Her Dark Wings is darkly enchanting, bold and unexpected. I loved experiencing this richly imagined world through the eyes of such a well-drawn, nuanced heroine."
The Upper World (2021)
(Upper World, book 1)
Femi Fadugba
"I think what I love most about this brilliant book is how it creates a few mini worlds (Esso's, Rhia's, the Upper World) and brings them all together in a beautiful dance. The Upper World by Femi Fadugba made me laugh, made me feel. I loved Esso and Rhia's wry observations."
