LOGAN'S ISLAND Having thought for most of her life that her father had died when she was a child, Helen was astonished to learn that he had died only recently, and had left her_ some property - among it an island off the coast of Brazil. There was one snag: her inheritance was to be shared with an unknown man called Jake Logan. She decided she ought to inspect the property - and Jake Logan! And what she discovered about him on reaching Brazil was hardly reassuring. A rover, a womaniser - there was not much, it appeared, to his credit. And the name of the island in question - Island of Storms - seemed symbolic of the wildly antagonistic relationship that promptly developed between the two of them!
