***New York Times and USA Today best selling author***
Catered Affair is a re-issue, and I'm eager to share this wonderful story with all my readers that have not yet met Jenna and Grant. This love story has it all--tragedy, triumph, tender emotions, delightful quirky characters, passion, humor and great sex.
A family tragedy has career-minded Jenna Cassali housebound with two teenagers, a baby, and a dog from hell, with a hot doctor in pursuit. The longer she stays the more she realizes what's missing in her own life, but she likes to play it safe, and safe means returning to New York and her job, not launching a catering business, or falling in love.
Grant, a pediatrician and widower, believes his son died because of his negligence. The hospital becomes his life, but when he meets Jenna, his broken heart begins to heal.
Can he close the door on his past, and allow himself to love again? Will Jenna find the courage to change her destiny, open her life, and her heart?
Review - This was my first book by Patrice Wilton, and I have to say I really liked it. There is so much to say about A Catered Affair. It wasn't the simple romance I was expecting it to be. It was a delightfully complex book with a full range of emotions and a fully fleshed story.
Jenna Cassali is a very complex character. She is an executive, a sister, an aunt, a daughter, and a woman trying to get over the disappointments of the past. I really enjoyed reading this story of Jenna's growth, which included some really good steaminess smexin. I was pleasantly surprised by this book. After the first chapter I was expecting your typical romance novel (I expected the sister to die, her to step in to raise the kids, and for her and the husband to fall in love with the husband), and got so much more. This is a great book that I recommend y'all trying out!!
Another review - GREAT READ!!

I loved this book. It kept me reading into the night. I even slipped onto the couch late at night to finish it. Characters were lovable and story was one that made made laugh and cry. Don't hesitate to read this one!
ANOTHER REVIEW - There is a LOT of story to this book! When Jenna's sister is in a car accident that puts her into a coma, it puts Jenna's life into a crazy tailspin. She was visiting and actually sees the car accident happen as they are on their way to deliver one of the cars to get worked on at the dealership. Jenna normally lives in NYC and has an extremely successful career there. But when her sister ends up in a coma, she can't abandon her family and ends up being the main caregiver for her sister's two teenagers and baby.
I liked Jenna a lot (with the exception of her stubborn streak when it came to the possibility of any kind of relationship with Grant.) His history added an interesting twist and depth to his character. I enjoyed the crazy family dynamic that Jenna had and how devoted she was to them despite the craziness.
Loved Jenna and Grant together especially their chemistry, which was amazing. These are two very different people resisting this relationship for two incredibly different reasons. I enjoyed watching their transformation as their relationship and their emotional stability matured. It was a fun book to read.
