Storybook Parties

This text contains 45 party themes based on children's stories, arranged by age. Each theme includes homemade invitation ideas, costume suggestions, decorating tips, games and activities, refreshments, prizes, and presents. Children are given the opportunity to become part of the story, dress up as different characters, play games, and make special theme-related recipes. The book provides 15 parties for three to six year olds, including: "The Cat in the Hat"; "Cinderella"; Disney's "The Lion King"; "Three Little Pigs"; "Where the Wild Things Are"; "Mother Goose"; and "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". The 15 parties for nine to 12 year olds include: "Tom Sawyer"; "Anne of Green Gables"; "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"; "Charlotte's Webb"; "Harriet the Spy"; "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone"; "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe"; "the Secret Garden"; "Treasure Island"; and "The Wind in the Willows".
