BLONDY'S BOY FRIEND was written in 1930 by Philip Wyle but it was published under the name Leatrice Homesley. Why? Noted author/scholar Richard A. Lupoff takes a stab at explaining it in his introduction and provides a lot of background information about how Ramble House almost singlehandedly rescued it from oblivion. Even the heirs of Philip Wylie didn't know about it. Fans of Wylie, who wrote many books but is best known for WHEN WORLD'S COLLIDE, will thoroughly enjoy this early effort.
