September 1918. Although the world is at war, Delia Markham is adjusting to her job as a typewriting teacher at the Glennon Normal School in the fall term of 1918. Wesley Glennon, with the help of his manservant Otis, continues to search for the man that shot them. However, problems closer to home arise reminding him of the importance of his familial responsibilities.
