Mason had a good life. A well-paying job, a beautiful home, a company car. He enjoyed his work and his lifestyle. Then the body is discovered and his world crumbles.

Mason loved his job as a detective but when scandal chases him from the force, he lands at a private security job that pays extremely well, has better hours, and gives him the freedom to choose and work cases his way. He is good at what he does and has left his questionable past behind.

However, when the body of his ex-wife shows up in his house his good life crashes down. Pushed his ex-partner who still believes him guilty of stealing evidence while on the force, the evidence piles up against him. It’s only a matter of time before Mason is arrested. To prove his innocence, he needs to be free to investigate but that means evading the police for as long as possible.

With time running out on his freedom, Mason discovers a sinister plot that goes far beyond his own involvement and deep into the company that employees him. But who would want to destroy him and what did they hope to gain? As his investigation begins to fit the pieces together, Mason is arrested leaving the answers beyond his reach. The evidence is compelling, the case strong but with the truth still out of reach Mason has but one hope, escape.
