A new town. A new restaurant. Another fresh start. Bridgett was enjoying the peaceful surroundings, the beautiful scenery, and the pleasant people. Then she discovered the body, and everything changed.

Bridgett and Drew were looking forward to this new adventure. Marblehead, Massachusetts, with so many wonderous sites to visit and such a relaxing location looked like the perfect location for a fresh start. Then the body washed ashore, and Bridgett is once again drawn into a mystery that goes well beyond anything she’s ever encountered before.

Whatever is happening in this usually peaceful town has to do with Marblehead Harbor, the mooring sites, and a mysterious house located on the opposite shore. However, before she gets too involved, Drew extracts a promise from her to stay out of the investigation. When Bridgett inadvertently stumbles n a secret meeting between two criminal organizations, she becomes a target and has little choice but to get involved.

With killers stalking her and the police setting her out as bait, Bridgett realizes she is in way over her head, but when given the option of either facing off with the killers or risk losing Drew, Bridgett must fight for both of their lives. To survive, she must do battle with one of the most dangerous men she has ever faced.
