Audubon: A vision is a series of poems, individual but related, which, taken together, constitute a single poem. It was suggested by episodes from the life and passages from the writings of the mysterious and compelling John James Audubon. Some of these poems have appeared in Harper's magazine, The New Yorker, and The Yale Review, but none of them have previously been published in a book.
