Gone Girls trafficking case is solved, Mick Finnegan and Joe Lawler are looking for a spot of calm and R&R. They think they’ve found it, when their new Chief of Police insists that they travel to Provo, Utah for a pleasant fishing trip. But it’s a ruse to rope them into adding support for the local Native American authorities and branch FBI on a case of missing and murdered Native women around the Mohawken reservation area.

Between attempts to get some fishing in, Mick and Joe find themselves butting heads with local law enforcement, and a recently revived and self-styled Clan of the Ghost Dancers, which leads to a struggle between high-tech cops vs. Native American savvy!

Drones and RVs vs. horseback riders with bows & arrows, in a chase scene like none other. New characters and locations are introduced in the Blue Vegas novella series. Provo, home of Brigham Young University, takes on a life of its own, as does the Mowhawken-Ute-Shoshoni Reservation, former home of the eleven murder victims, who Mick and Joe become highly and emotionally invested in.
