It was Detective Inspector Danny Fletcher’s last case. He was puzzled.
Why would a thirty-year-old woman, with so much life ahead of her, hide overnight in a church, destroy all evidence of her identity, and then cut open her wrists, leaving the church curate to call Danny in?
