When his mother died, Tom Carver sold their farm and rode into Abbeyville to bank his money and decide on his future. But fate took a hand. The bank was robbed and Tom left unconscious and penniless. Worse still, he was promptly arrested for theft. But Tom was damned if he would let the thieves get away with it.
