Originally written in 1920, this SF/fantasy romp from G&D Science-Fiction Classics series pits one man against the strange wonders of a not so deserted isle. There are both the brutish, nearly inhuman decedents of a pirate crew and the tiny, strange and advanced creates that gave birth to the ancient Greek civilization. Easily as good or better than anything written today and with the slightly anachronistic dialog and unique plot twists that warm the hearts of us SF fans who need more than the modern regurgitations.
