Out of work and low on savings, actress Abby Stevens agreed to help Charles Bradbury get his revenge on the man who had ruthlessly ruined his daughter's life. Abby would play the famine fatale. She had been forewarned that Lance Lazenby was the type of man who would not hesitate to twist an innocent girls heart around his little finger. Luckily the scripted did not call for the heroine to fall in love with the villain. How was Abby to know that her heart would begin acting of its own accord?
