Surrounded. Besieged. Trapped. Whatever you want to call it, B Squadron SAS are in trouble…

The SAS have been in central France for a number of weeks, harassing and attacking the enemy. But their number is slowly being whittled down, as sabotage missions become more deadly. Two men are missing, but when a new arrival turns up unannounced in their camp, Captain Hayes and Lieutenant Longden of the Special Air Service know they have to move immediately, or risk being found out by the enemy.

But with distrust of their new arrival at the forefront of everyone’s minds, exhaustion and paranoia filtering in, they become distracted. B Squadron find themselves in a situation that none of them are expecting to leave alive.

And so, with the enemy closing in fast, Captain Hayes and Lieutenant Longden must do something that lives up to the mantra of the Special Air Service:
