POST-APOCALYPTIC FICTION BY JERRY D. YOUNG
JAY JONES WAS A PREPPER.
His wife on the other hand was not, although she didn't really mind it. To her, the prepping Jay did was just his hobby, one of the things he like to spend money on for himself. In some ways she actually liked it because it allowed her to have a defense if he would ever mention her spending money on her own hobbies, which he never did. Jay was passionate about protecting his family and felt better knowing that he had a plan for any emergency that he and his family may experience. Unfortunately, at times Jay had to travel for work and he was concerned that his wife's indifference towards his preparations might be a weakness that his prepping cannot overcome.
