(A book in the Ewin Multiverse series)
A Story by

Freya is a Viking Völva, otherwise known as a wand-carrier. She's so famous across Denmark for her future-telling abilities that a captain invites her to join his fleet of Viking warships on a journey to increase their territories. She doesn't want to go, but her father and brothers tell her it's the opportunity of a lifetime.

In the year 851, three hundred and fifty ships sail into the mouth of the River Thames. During the Battle of Aclea, the Danes push the Saxons away from the river bank. But King Æthelwulf, sensing the moment right for a counter-strike, orders his son, Aethelbald, to cross the Ock River downstream. Despite the Vikings' valiant efforts, the Saxons emerged victorious.

Freyja is captured and taken prisoner by the King of Mercia.

But this ancient story ends with a futuristic and magical bang when a Catholic monk seeks Freya out. Together they must close a portal used by soul-suckers across ten parallel universes.

This comic is one of the short stories, connected to Rayner's new up-and-coming Portal Fantasy Eion Universe. Eions can be called vampires or soul-suckers, but they are so much more. Rayner's Vampire in Oxford novel, along with all its short stories, audiobooks, and comics (all set in the Eion Multiiverse) is being created in Rayner's new Patreon account. A link can be found in Rayner's profile.

This is NOT ROMANCE. None of Rayner Ye's books and comics are romance.

This is the first instalment of Freya. Rayner will only create the second instalment once she has decided what will happen to Freya next after appearing in Vampire in Oxford (which is dictated into the dark.) Readers of Rayner's Firesnake novels might understand who Freya is by the end of this comic.

Rayner created all these images using Midjourney AI and Photoshop. Please be patient if noticing the main character becomes a slightly different looking woman in every panel. Please also be patient if you notice the characters change their wardrobes several times throughout a conversation. This is also due to Midjourney not caring for clothes.
