Eve Zaremba is the author of six mystery novels and one work of feminist non-fiction. A number of her novels have been published in UK, German and China. She is a long-standing member of The Writers Union of Canada.She lives in Toronto with her long-time partner Ottie Lockey who is a consultant to the performing arts. They spend a part of each year in Vancouver.Zaremba's current interests include making art from trash - objet trouve.
Eve Zaremba was born in Poland and emigrated to Canada in 1952 after a stint in the UK. She graduated from University of Toronto in 1963.
Active in the Women's Liberation Movement in the seventies and eighties, Zaremba was a founding member of Broadside, A Feminist Review published in Toronto from 1978 to 1988. She has written articles and reviews in a number of other publications.
Over the years Zaremba has made a living in advertising, marketing, real estate and publishing. Two of her novels were written while she owned and ran a used book store.
