About the author: Ellen Guon has written three novels with Mercedes Lackey (Knight of Ghosts and Shadows, Summoned to Tourney, and Wing Commander: Freedom Flight), and also a solo novel (Bedlam Boyz). She has also published short stories and numerous non-fiction articles, and is a former children's television screenwriter. She has worked as a designer, writer, and producer of videogames for Disney, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, and other companies.
These stories were previously published in short story anthologies by Baen Books and Roc/Penguin.
