There are some people I owe money, but I'm square with the law and with my Aunt Amanda. Which is why she said it was okay if I stayed at her secluded little farmhouse outside Washington, D.C., while she spent the month in Europe. I figured a month was all I needed for some bets I had on some sporting events to pay off, and I would be out of the mess I was in. I didn't count on Roy showing up.
