The Man from Lamb Hill

Following the death of her father, Rachel Adams and her younger brother are forced to join the Gilpin family at Lamb Hill Farm in Yorkshire - an arrangement which the Gilpins are as unhappy about as they are. Rachel longs for her freedom but gains as much comfort as she can from the love she begins to feel for the local vet, Tony Preston. However, the tables are finally turned and when she is offered her independence she is suddenly no longer sure that she wants it.
