The Ripple Effect Trilogy: a simple promise leads to murder, mystery, mayhem and love.

Gillian DuBois makes a promise to her sister Nolah Holland, a journalist, that she will take care of Nolah’s daughter if anything happens to her. Gillian adores her niece, Jordy, and can’t imagine anything serious or deadly happening to Nolah.

But Nolah is killed in a tragic and questionable accident. Gillian takes custody of Jordy.

What follows is a lifestyle change for Gillian and a search for the truth about Nolah’s death who was writing an article about corruption in the oil industry. She meets Romare Ellington, an executive who works for a large oil company. Romare is honoring a deathbed promise to his parents—taking care of his younger brother and sister. With his sister graduating from high school, Romare is looking forward to a carefree, single life. He did not expect to fall for Gillian who is raising her niece.

Gillian and Romare are drawn to each other, but a major wedge stands between them: the death of Nolah Holland. When Gillian links information from Nolah’s notes to Romare’s company, she is determined to find answers. Some of the answers leads to Romare and puts Gillian and Jordy in danger.
