Bethany saw the fear in Jazz’s eyes when she had disappeared. She was worried about what was coming, she had seen the scratches on her arms, and she knew that they could come from one thing.
Bethany doesn’t want to scare the queen about the woods. Seeing the scratches on Jazz’s arms she could see that the werewolves were still alive. Just as Bethany is about to tell her they hear heavy footsteps, and they hide in one of the bushes quietly. Back in the kingdom, the king doesn’t know if he believes what Shelby is telling them.
