The king demands to know more about the vampires that Shelby was talking about. Dark Of Knight doesn’t want to tell him, he thought that Shelby was going to keep it to herself, she thought that she wouldn’t tell anyone. The King is not going to let Dark Of Knight out of the dungeon. If he were to let Dark Of Knight out that was going to make the kingdom turn against him, he was lucky that the kingdom hadn’t turned against him already for what he had kept hidden.
In the woods, the Queen doesn’t want to talk about how her life had been before. The only attack was the first one while Dark of Knight was away, and Jacob was just a baby. She had thought that the vampire was dead. She had forgotten for a long time until Bethany cast a spell for the ring. That was when the Queen found out what Jacob was.That’s something that she wanted to forget.
The Queen can’t understand why vampire hadn’t attacked again, if there were more out there why hadn’t they come to the cottage? Why hadn’t the vampires come any closer?
