Eddie Clewes was slight and rather short, judging by ordinary outlaw standards. But his muscles were like the finest steel springs and he had a way of thinking just a split second faster than the other fellow. So when big Dandy Pritchard found there was $25,000 on Eddie's head he wasn't surprised as some others, but it gave him a chill about his heart to reflect that he had double crossed a man like that, and the Eddie Clewes was on his trail!
