New bakery owner, Nicole Bennett, has her hands full. Not only is she in charge of providing the desserts for Christmas dinner with her family, but she’s also busy, busy, busy trying to keep up with the orders that are flowing into the bakery, which hasn��t been open for even a year.
Thankfully, her grandmother is her business partner, and she’s more than capable of keeping up.
When her beloved grandmother is arrested for murder, a week before Christmas, Nicole is certain it must be some sort of joke.
But the police aren’t laughing.
Apparently, her grandmother’s old car, which hadn’t been driven in years, was stolen and used in a hit-and-run incident. As if circumstances couldn’t get any worse…it turns out that the victim of the hit-and-run was the bakery’s biggest competitor.
